Dear Mr. Snow,

I wanted to write you this letter to say how incredibly proud and happy I am for you. Knowing that you’re living openly as a gay man now makes me smile, because I know this is you stepping into your truth. No more hiding, no more second-guessing. You’re embracing your identity as a gay man, and that is something to be proud of—not just because of the bravery it takes, but because it means you’re finally putting yourself first. That’s a powerful thing.

You being gay doesn't change who you are to me. You’re still Mr. Snow—thoughtful, kind, funny, and loyal. But now you’re also Mr. Snow, the openly gay friend who had the guts to say, “This is who I am.” And that version of you? I respect him even more.

I hope you feel a sense of freedom that only comes with living authentically. Being gay is not just one part of you—it’s a beautiful, valid part of your story, and it’s something that connects you to a vibrant, resilient community that has fought hard for visibility and pride. You’re now fully a part of that legacy. And you belong, exactly as you are.
