I finished Before the Storm back when it was being released, and I loved it a lot, and now I finally decided that it's time for a playthrough of Before the Storm, and it's still as good as I remember.

Over the years I still like Rachel Amber as character, and even though it's a shame that we only had 3 episodes with her, Deck Nine flashed out her character really well, and Chloe too.

The ending hurt just as it did 8 years ago... I just wish Chloe and Rachel would get their happy ending.

Optimizing the games became so rare this gen, that people started to blame engines even though it has always been the studio's responsibility. This studio is a prime example of how the Unreal Engine 5 can be effective when used properly

The game is awesome! The optimisation is top-tier. The maps are beautiful and unique.
The sound design is absolutely insane. The arcs are so well balanced that, when you make a mistake, you either quickly adapt or get eliminated. Game is also very friendly towards non-tryhards like in other Tarkov game... So if you always wanted to play some extraction shooter, but you were always turned off by the grind from Tarkov this one is definitely a good starting point.

edit: Still fun

This Demo is a great showcase that Early Access will make Olden Era (probably) THE Best Heroes of Might and Magic since HOMM3. It's already fun, and there is still more to come.

Instantly bought it. So far I'm having lots of fun. I thought that my n. of plays 3 will be a bit too much for this DLC, but nope... I'm getting my ass kicked. Please send help.

Also regarding to performance. So far no crashes or any other performance issues. It runs just as good as base game.

New favorite song: SURVIVOR. They keep on cooking with the songs in this game! ಥ_ಥ

I was well aware of the controversy behind this game, and I didn’t enjoy the first game very much, mostly because I played it several years after its release, and by the time I finally experienced it, the game had become too over-hyped, and I don't believe that any game can live up to such expectations. So it left me confused of why the 1st game was so highly praised when it felt good but not that special. Fortunately, I was still interested in trying the 2nd game, mainly because I wanted to experience it for myself rather than simply reading others’ opinions. Surprisingly, it turned out to be exceptionally good, and I’m glad I didn’t let the Internet ruin the experience for me, and to be completely fair, I like it more than the 1st game which might be just as controversial :D

I don't want to discuss the main story too much because I don't want to spoil it but this little section will have a minor spoilers:
I also appreciated the part where the writers forced the player to pursue Abby once more-even though, at that moment, I thought, “Ellie, you have a family now! What is wrong with you?” Additionally, when Abby and Lev were searching the 2425 Apartment, the experience reminded me of Joel and Ellie from the first game. It felt satisfying, and the overall ending was much more understandable.

Ultimately, I believe the only reason this game was so controversial is that Joel and Ellie had an entire game devoted to them. If the first game had focused on Abby and Lev (as most of this game’s conflict does), the reaction might have been just as intense, or at least I really felt conflicted about it. Like I have these 2 groups, but I like both of them. Are they really bad people or just a good people that had to make a difficult decisions?

Furthermore, the grounded difficulty was excellent—even coming from someone who normally favors stealth gameplay. The only disappointment was that the game doesn’t indicate when you might need to conserve ammo (for example, suggesting that you can use a few extra bullets in certain sections). However, since I was warned not to play it on grounded difficulty during my first playthrough, I guess that is just on me. :D

Also for Performance enjoyers, yes I had a few crashes, but game is quick-saving a lot so I didn't lose much of the progression at all, or I didn't feel like it was pissing me off. Also it run really great on my Ryzen 7800X3D & RX 6600 on High settings at 1080p with average of 65FPS +/-. So it's definitely much better port than TLoU 1.

I wish more games were as well optimised as FragPunk. Probably one of the best optimised games I played in the 20's as it can even run on potatoes.
Also the gameplay loop is really fun and I like coming back to play more, even the hoard mode is really fun. So yeah, if you're looking for a Valorant replacement, FragPunk feels like the best alternative, and to be fair, even for players who want to try something completely new, as I've played pretty much Overwatch, CS, R6 and I enjoy it a lot.

One of THE best opening missions I ever experienced in gaming. You know it has something special when 1st mission is just that good.

I'm really enjoying the overall character design as every character feels very unique, and each talent feels very satisfying. Each run is pretty simple, you have 18 minutes for every Act, and it's up to you how fast and efficient you will clear up the map before the timer expires. I highly recommend this game especially if you're looking for a good co-op roguelike game. One of the best things about this game is that it is mostly based on abilities as they deal most of the damage, which might be a good thing for some and bad for others.
