TF2 stripped down to it's essentials then polished and refined into an incredibly smooth, fun and satisfying experience

This is my favorite platformer of all time and I've played a lot of platformers. I originally played it on 3DS When it was simply Shovel Knight and it has so much extremely high quality content in it now it could be nearly overwhelming. I recommend not trying to play through all this game has to offer at once or you will be here for a very long time.

The gameplay is quite basic but I will never not love this game. it is a complete love letter to Star Wars, LEGO and Lucasfilm itself. It is also genuinely funny despite lacking any dialogue which is something even more modern TT Games releases have struggled a lot with. :BobaFett:

It's alright. First actual 40k video game I've played and I can't really recommend it, especially at full price. Functional shooting mechanics though basic compared to other late Xbox 360 games. Levels are pretty linear. Has some design issues such as finishers being used as your main way to regain health, yet doing them does not put you in invincibility so you are likely to die during the only times you actually need to be using them. There is no real final boss, just enemy spam of the same things you've been fighting for hours and then QTEs.

The story is basic and lacking depth. Originally the Warhammer 40k setting was meant to be satirical, yet the modern lore and way the Imperium are portrayed in this game makes it come off as unironic fascist propaganda and not a critique of it. You might say that's not a real flaw for a video game that's only intended to be fun, but consider that for many people this IS how they got into and see Warhammer 40k. It does not at all shock me that the 40k fanbase is the way it is when this is the most mainstream representation of the franchise.

Online only and "early access" yet has a fully functional microtransaction shop

Even if you buy the legendary edition you have to grind for lootboxes to unlock all of the skins. Gear affects your stats in online and in local multiplayer the second person CAN NOT use your loadouts meaning only player 1 gets to use skins. This is also tied to your account and servers so if they ever get shut down your ability to unlock cosmetics will be completely removed. NetherRealm and Warner Bros' greed affected this game in a bad way, only buy it on sale. The roster, character design and skins are also generally a downgrade from Injustice 1.

The online multiplayer is also currently COMPLETELY BROKEN and will desync you every single time.

Very fun video game where you can shoot nazis and you can also shoot zombies (also nazis) and it's fun and the video game is the complete product and not just a platform to sell you microtransactions. The campaign is also co-op which they almost never did after this game

This port is unplayable and doesn't work well (or for me, at all) on modern systems. If you *can* get it to run there are numerous major bugs with this version they refused to ever fix and require mods.

This game is really good. The music is 10/10, the campaign is great and the firefight mode is fantastic. This version also adds in more content with Flood and Sentinel enemies added to Firefight as well as Halo 3 weapons that were excluded originally, so very much worth playing.
