The JRPG genre is actually a bigger scam than the Open World meme-genre. Chrono Trigger already peaked gameplay, story and mechanics wise over 30 years ago. Every single JRPG that came after was a downgrade and didn't innovate anything. All they offer is a different story and characters, which is the last thing you should be interested in from anything made in Japan.

I am glad the genre is nearly dead and only kept alive by one-hit wonder indie studios.

What they did with God of War Ragnarok should be considered a crime.

It's not expensive to add steam cloud to your game.

I will be chuckling about the existence of this objectively garbage game for a long time. I'll pitch in to tricking simpletons into buying this garbage by leaving a positive review. Genuinely the worst game I've ever had the displeasure of playing. Makes ark survival evolved look good.

Pointless base building against dumb ai and no pvp, ♥♥♥♥ all to explore, the clunkiest buggiest combat, no story, no soundtrack.

The graphics are really outdated. Even older EA titles like Dragon Age inquisition feel next-gen in comparison. The vegetation in particular is awful, all the colours are washed out and the world feels stiff. The only reason this is well received is because all other recent Star Wars games and movies were revoltingly bad. People were starved for anything acceptable.

The combat is pretty weak too with barely any moves and only one weapon. No dismemberment with lightsaber and no force powers other than push and slow motion. Not even lightning. Only one weapon/saber type. It's extremely short at max 10 hours including artificial length stretching by having unskippable cutscenes and horrible checkpoints.

Anyone who bought this over an actual good game, such as DMC5 which features three more playable characters, HUNDREDS of more combos with better animation, HOURS of more and superior soundtrack, LONGER campaign, BIGGER levels, MORE replay value, secrets, unlockables etc. Dozens of more upgrades and obviously superior graphics and cinematics, needs to cut off their access from their bank account and seek help.

Possibly the worst looking game I've ever played. Horrible boring ass garbage sounding guns and barely any story in the first few hours, just mindless killing in boring environments with a bit of cover. Worst shooter I have ever seen in every aspect except the soundtrack.

It's unreal how superior Spyro is to Crash:
-Massive, open levels with free camera
-More gameplay mechanics with some being unique to certain worlds and levels
-More abilities for spyro, instead of just spinning and jumping throughout all 3 games lmao
-More story and dialogue with multiple villains throughout the games and the main character isn't braindead
-You can 100% most levels without having to replay them
