Half-Life 1 mod / coming April 9th 2011

This Mod is split into 2 parts:
1. Half-Life: Gold Singlerplayer
2. Half-Life: Gold Death Match





Half-Life: Gold Singlerplayer
(Status: Released)

Half-Life: Gold Singleplayer is a mod I started in September of 2010.
It brings back the good, old Half-Life 1 of 1998 with better
graphicelements such as textures, models and more. The whole
mod is still based on the Gold Source engine.The main part of
this mod is the texture work which had cost me much time.
I re-textured whole singeplayer.
Of course I didn't paint all the textures on my own. Otherwise
I would have finished this mod at a time when nobody remembers
Half-Life 1. For my mod I made use of the detailtexture system.
I also edited the conduct of npc's.
Thanks to Valve, for updating GoldSource engine (version 1.1.2.0).


Half-Life: Gold Deathmatch
(Status: Work in progress)

There will be an extra mod called Half-Life: Gold Death
Match based on the Trinity engine. Further more we are
going to set up ~5 gameservers for a start where everybody
who got Half-life can play the multiplayer part of Half-Life: Gold
online, which will contain a lot of extra features:

Graphics
- HD textures/models/sprites
- HD particles
- HD skybox
- Remakes of popular maps
- New model renderer
- Smoother lightning
- Water shadors
- Shadows for projecting lightsources
- New blood
- Will include famous clanmodels

Gameplay
- Bunnyhop enabled
- Removed bugs (e.g. "self gauss", "rpg fix")
- Different gamemodes (tdm, ctf, arena, ...)
- Extensive game menu

Still working on integrating coloured nicks
and a voting system.
