I solved the quest by sending the culprit to leave the village. Game tells me to see Uncle Wen but Uncle Wen seems to have disappeared from the game. Bug? - there's a female corpse not far from starting village: is this quest related?...

Hi all, It's been nearly 3 years since I updated my HTLS translation. I was doing a new one as an experiment after finishing Path of Kungfu and preparing to translate XYJZ2.
