I really should lock in and build something cute

I've tried a lot to really enjoy this game but I just can't... There just feels like it's missing so much. The gameplay is so slow and unrewarding and there's no sense of direction. The game's way too zoomed in but that just shows how small the game world actually is, and how little there is to do. The farming portion of the game is obnoxious, being able to water 1 plant at a time and only 6 plants before you have to refill your watering can.

I don't know, maybe I'm just not getting it, but I can't see how this hasn't been polished and added to over the years its been out, it definitely isn't finished
