Genuinely one of the most enjoyable stratigy games I have every played. The point system and abilty to name cities makes it very fun to play with friends, even for casuals such as myself. This game has only one flaw, that being the troops ability to stack like 10 per tile, other than that it is perfection. 10/10 would buy on sale for $6

Up there with Europa Universalis 4 I'd say this is one of my most played games of all time. I've probably played this game for many thousands of hours. Especially the 1000ad scenario. I've played every faction many times. The gameplay is very addictive and the historical roleplay is there too. It's fun hitting the industrial era first and then bullying your neighbors and enemies alike with better tech. There is also lots of great community content like scenarios and mods. Saying that this game is a bit dated now in terms of graphics. Really could do with a remaster. I'd give this game a 8/10 at the time of writing, compared to the market of Steam PC games at the time of writing. Still fun but a bit dated in February 2026.
