if you keep adding soldiers to go into MC lab (which you can build more than one), you can get some people with 90+ MC strength... get 3-4 people with MC device THEN The game is SO EASY - you can mind control aliens, make them shoot themselves OR throw weapon to your troops. you can scout, mind control, use that one to scout, and keep mind controlling. On tightly packed maps, you can basically MC and find the entire enemy team in 1 or 2 turns....

I still have yet to play more of the original game, and this is probably a dumb question that gets asked a lot, but I'll bite. I've heard that this game is balls-to-the-wall compared to X-COM UFO Defense, but is this actually true? If you play well, how much harder does it become?...

Let me ask you a question. I now have about 50 hours on my savegame and have encountered exactly 100 UFOs. I've smoked out a few bases, etc. Now it feels like everything has come to a bit of a standstill. I haven't been able to research for a while and I've always captured lots of living aliens after battles, but none of them can be interrogated. Is this normal, or do I have a research bug? By the way, I use “OpenXcom” to play. At the moment I have no option to research or rebuild alien submarines, but...

I enjoy the series but do we think firaxis would remake TFTD or turn it into a xcom 3 with underground lovecraftian horror monsters? Do ppl enjoy this game what about it is fun?
