To be honest, I think this is more of a step backward compared to the original Spintires. There are a few features that were included in the original game but are missing here for some reason, and the physics simulation feels quite strange as well. In the original game, every vehicle behaved realistically, whereas here it feels like each vehicle has its own separate physics. Some trucks perform unrealistically well off-road, while others are unnecessarily worse.

On top of that, I much preferred the graphics of the original game. It was more saturated and sharper, while this one looks blurry and washed out. There are a few good additions, though — for example, the challenge mode and the interior camera — but aside from those, I don’t have much positive to say. If you want the true Spintires experience, I’d recommend buying the original game instead.
