A true classic, just as good now as when it came out many years ago! A must play if you like this type of game!

I'm telling you, I just love these types of games, and I can't believe I missed out on this one for so many years. The story is great, the controls are a little clunky, also a controller is recommended. QTEs are challenging, and also, you have to be really quick when selecting answers in conversations. The younger generation will have a problem with it. But you know what, I don't mind that at all.
For €1, I didn't hesitate and bought it right away.

While Fahrenheit starts out very strong as you're playing both a man manipulated to commit a murder and the police officers chasing after him, it loses all semblence of coherence and plot about half-way through as it jumps the shark high enough to reach the moon. It, understandably, isn't as deep as Quantic Dream's later games in term of systems and player choice, but the moment I found out that after failing a sequence that the game justs kicks you back to the start of the scene (on most occasions), I felt like I lost all agency, and engagement, in the story.
It's not bad or anything and if you like weird stories and are looking for a linear game with a nice atmosphere, you'll probably like it, but it's clear it is the only the first of its kind, waiting for Quantic Dream to refine the formulae.
