In this patch we are happy to be able to bring you support to make custom video/voicelines available with your CPU Lords, by using external sharing sites - for example, Nexus Mods. Thank you for the continued community support and passion for Crusader.

Custom Portrait Images can now be uploaded for all Custom Lords, and this is supported in the Steam Workshop

Additionally, outside of the Steam Workshop, the following is now supported through the use of external sharing sites:

• Full Custom Video, Text, and Speech for your Custom CPU Lords is now supported.

• Readme.txt can be found in the CustomMedia folder in the settings folder, to help answer any questions you may have. This can be found by pressing the “Open Settings Folder” in the settings menu in-game, and then within the folder named “CustomMedia”

• Example files have been provided for Custom Lord Media, to be used as a guide

We’ve heard your love for spectator mode, and have made some of the most hotly requested additions to make this mode better than ever:

• Increased game speed cap to 300 in spectator mode

• Allowed selecting of units for viewing their health bars in spectator mode

• Hidden items (killing pits, pitch ditch, ambushers and assassins) are now shown to the spectator

• Floating info popups (Market Place, Current Population & Gold) for the CPUs, will now be visible for the spectator

• The Spectator can no longer use the undo button in spectator mode to delete buildings

ADDITIONS

• Enabled extreme powers in single player Co-Op Trails

• Added checks for certain invalid combinations of CPU Lord Config settings (eg. setting a number for siege cover troops, but not setting a troop type for it)

• SHIFT and CTRL can now be used to assign/replace multiple Castle Designs at once during CPU Lord Setup

• Fixed a bug where using Extended and Custom CPU Lords could cause the game to crash when starting a Multiplayer game

• Fixed a bug where custom CPUs could delete their Keep after sending out an attack wave

• Fixed a bug where a Custom Skirmish game could be started without a Castle Design being assigned for a Custom CPU Lord, which would cause a crash

• Fixed a bug where, if a CPU Lord had more than 1 patrol group in their Attack Force, the additional groups would not attack an enemy Castle

• Fixed a bug where CPU Lords set to attack the "Richest" and "Weakest" player would retarget their entire attack force if who the condition applies to were to change

• Fixed a bug where, when a CPU Lord has no Harassment siege engines, they would place unoccupied Woodcutters around the Castle

• Fixed a bug where Pikemen, Swordsmen and Arab Swordsmen would ignore gather points in Castle Designs

• Fixed a bug where, when hosting a custom Co-Op Multiplayer game, only the guest would have a round table present in the game lobby

• Fixed a bug where Custom CPU Lords wouldn’t be placed into teams in Co-Op Multiplayer lobbies

• Fixed a bug where customizing the Classic Trails would remove the option to place Bedouin Camp

• Fixed a bug where the trail border of Trail of the Cobra wouldn’t change to gold on trail completion

• Fixed a bug when restarting a Custom Trail

• Fixed a bug where selecting a blank row of the Custom Trails selection box would cause an error, and occasionally a crash

• Fixed a bug where a number string would appear in front of a Custom CPU Lord’s name in Multiplayer and in the Teams Panel

• Fixed a visual bug where the Multiplayer Mini Map could show extra mini map image borders

• The Horse Archers position was not consistent with its rotation, this has been improved

• Fixed the Greatest Lord panel in the Seventh Crusade Mission 5, 'The Re Conquest' 

• Localisation of “Wins” in “Lord Crusader Wins” popup (at the end of a match) has been fixed across multiple languages

Please note that you will only see Multiplayer lobbies of other players on the exact same version of the game as you. People make sure you're on the latest version if you'd like to play Multiplayer.
