the pros:
- combat is fun
- movement in open world feels good
- good fishing

the cons:
- pay to win
- too many currencies to keep track of
- 400 focus per day which can be blown through in seconds so you wait 24 hours till you get your next 400
- lots of time gating

I wanted to love this game, i truly did, but the cons just overshadow the good exponentially.

Dialogue simulator. I played over 1.5 hours. Out of that the legit total gameplay time I experienced was less than 15 minutes. ( Gameplay is you walking from one NPC to another to initiate another cutscene or a dialogue)
The combat time in total was for less than a minute. (Combat, you press a button and everyone is dead. You won't die to an enemy even if you stand still)
I would recommend this product to people who are looking for an AI girlfriend.
If you actually want to play a game, this is not for you.

I was of the people who played a lot of season 1 and was hoping to see improvements in s2. But a few days into it I can't say its enjoyable anymore as a casual

1. The beginning s2 kinda killed the casualness of it. The big jump in gear level requirements was pretty brutal. It's kinda crazy to drop a whole new area but have it completely unexplorable if you only did s1 (or didn't grind it) because even normal enemies one shot you. And then getting new gear felt daunting cause world bosses took 15 minutes since half the ppl fighting die to 1 hit. So it's like, I can barely do progression without being on someone's back. And the only progression I can do is locked behind the main story quest which is-

2. Still very mid. Granted I haven't finished it, but I already wasn't drawn into it. As someone who tries to put some attention to lore, season 1 was already a drag to get through. I was really hoping to display would be better, but watching again the same stiff animations and doing a coin flip on if the voicelines would be voiced or not failed to be engaging. Still love Airona and Tina tho

3. Having fun with cosmetics and being f2p in this game is completely incompatible. There was absolutely no new f2p cosmetics added that didn't take an arm and a leg to grind for (and there was only like, 2/3 of those?). You can't even realistically save for the gacha cause you only get 3 tokens a week. Being stuck with the same 3 outfits isn't great. Not to mention the clothes are gender locked and designs just feel like the same skirt/dress, suit & pants stuff all over again

I don't hate the game. And honestly I'd play it more if I didn't play others. This game needs a big overhaul and market strategy change if it wants to have more than a niche audience. I wanted to be a part of that ride, but others game just have more things going.
