The Permenence of Defeat?

What is the deal with this achievement? I've been doing this silly loop for hours and it is exactly the same no matter what I do. Like this ♥♥♥♥ is scripted and the branch for the achievement is broken. I've done the stand by throne and bait with 3 into 1. I've spammed nothing but 3. I've moved around and actually tried to "play". It took me less time to beat Soul of Cinder than this janky piece of ♥♥♥♥....

What a cute, impressive and profound game! A true gem that deserves much more love and has become one of my favorites.

It's short, don't buy it thinking you'll spend 100 hours playing because the gameplay takes place in a few minutes and has little dialogue, but it moves and motivates you and leaves you with a warm heart.

So if you've always wanted to know what it's like to "be on the other side" in the world of games and are open to seeing a story told in a unique way, this game is for you. If not, don't bother the Queen with your greed.

I quit the first time I played this but...

The hero comes across as extremely cringey and obnoxious, and combined with the feeling of playing with a huge handicap as the Queen with the slow tank like movement, long ability cooldowns, and the hero's AI seemingly deciding when I'm allowed to hit him, the experience becomes frustrating very quickly. It never felt like the hero actually earned any hits, which made the dialogue implying that he did even more irritating. He wasn't learning anything, he was already jumping into the air as soon as I presse...

A tentative recommend from me. It's a short game with a clever concept, but you can already tell what the concept is by watching the trailer. There are some nice touches in terms of game design, animation, and dialogue, but I didn't feel like the game offered that much philosophical depth or explored the relationship between the two characters quite as deeply as I would have liked.

The combat in the game is also rigged to advance the story, regardless of your skill. I understand why the creators did it but am still not a fan of the approach. They could have made the combat more fair and let the player explore more possible endings instead.

It's still a fun way to spend a half hour; it just didn't deliver the deep character drama that I was hoping for.

It's a very interesting perspective that we play as a Boss of some game. Although it's an brillant idea. It could be more longer and expanded(lore and map wise). And I think we are a little nerfed while moving or using our abilities. Such as when I use my mace it looks like I hit but with a one or two frame hero dodges me? I think if we had more hit area and maybe when hero walks to us and touch causes to give damage, it would be more realistic. While playing I thought I was the one kept by a strong force while it should be hero that needs to feel like that. Overall, I really had fun while playing, and I liked the writing in dialogues. It really make me think. I would like to see more about Mortholme (Universe?) and our lovely Queen in the future.

This is a scam, only pigeon will buy this "game"

Its not a game, you will just lose 5 bucks for a "scripted visual novel", this is just a little book of 5 pages speaking of the relation of a adventurer of Dark Souls and a boss of Dark Souls, he learn the boss, he die again and again, and at the end he kill the boss, the only difference in this game is the adventurer speaking with the boss. zero interest....

The game is fine, but...

It left me wanting more from the perspective of the Queen. The hero is a shallow, well, "hero" with endless "growth" potential that, after a few tries, becomes so cringey it's unbearable. Especially when he pulls out the shield. I know that it's supposed to be the game where the hero is the only one who can "retry" the run, but I can't help but wonder how would Queen meet the Hero if she knew from the start that he will come. You know, since the player playing as the Queen from the first try onwards know...
