Ahahah! Oh! Oh oh my gosh! This was so epic! I certainly had a great time...! Even if my MC didn't... XD

Firstly... Thanks to these games I am actually able to explore places which are normally inaccessible. :D

Two, I may have oversold my excitement. I *did* nearly throw up after my character did. Lol. I completely understand buddy!

Following that, I got really upset about all the victims... Apparently my empathy isn't overly dead yet. Ah well.

After remembering I don't know how to give up when I probably should, I tried again and... Lost the scissor blades. Darn. I wanted to play with those!!!

The deeper I went, the more hilarious it became. I really loved the sarcastic messages and that battle near the end? That was epic!!!

Also... Is it me or those sounds/slight soundtrack at the end of the game sounds kinda like the soundtrack from Final Fantasy X? The part where the dance is performed and the spirits of the dead are released?

Now, now... It isn't the same. I just kept hearing it. Over and over again. Interesting coincidence.

This was so fun. End connection. Retribution. Heh heh.

Outlast is easily one of the best horror games I’ve ever played. Set inside the terrifying Mount Massive Asylum, a psychiatric hospital which is perfect for horror with dark corridors, disturbing torture scenes, intense stealth sequences, and shocking jump scares.

The violence, gore, and disturbing themes are on another level. With around 6 hours for the main game and 2 additional hours for the DLC (which completes the full story), it’s a short but unforgettable experience.

Even after 13 years, Outlast remains one of the scariest games in this genre.

Outlast 1 may seem like a simple game at first, but once you start playing you realize it’s actually a very intense horror experience with moments that can genuinely scare you and keep you on edge. The asylum atmosphere, the darkness, and the constant feeling that something is chasing you make the game very immersive. One thing that felt a bit weird was how many nude characters there were, which sometimes feels unnecessary, but it doesn’t really ruin the experience. The ending is unexpected and memorable. As a horror game I’d rate it 8.5/10, but as a game overall it’s more like 7.5/10, and for 1 USD it’s honestly a must-buy. It’s definitely one of the best horror games out there and a very memorable experience.
