Population growth is near stagnant Everything you want to build needs strategic resources All the ship boosting improvements are gone Early precursor weapons got nerfed so bad i don't even know why they are there at all when level 1 weapons are just as good and don't need strategic resources?? There are 'citizens' now... awesome, although an ability to shift them around would be nice? I cannot find an updated list of all ...

Playing Synthetic. Upgrade shows it is earned with Colonial Engineering tech, but upgrade not available to select. Is it actually not allowed for Synthetics?

I cannot say which one i should hop in, believe i have the base game not having any DLCs over on IV yet. Would you guys recommend playing this or go on move to IV?
