Do I recommend you get this game? Definitely on a discount. It is a solid 7/10 from my opinion. This game has EAC, I don't really care for multiplayer but putting EAC on a single player game is ridiculous.

Gameplay wise, it is fine, though repetitive and drops are subjected to rng. There's this one time I needed a monster drop to complete my chef and oh my god. For the past several hours at trying it just doesn't drop at all which was very frustrating. I could say the same for gear enhancements, specifically aging your weapons alone does not feel very rewarding. I get that it's faster on multiplayer but I just don't feel like playing with other people.

The crafting part is okay too, though I sometimes feel like there could be less mashing with some of the recipes. I actually made the mistake of manually crafting so much and not taking breaks in between, especially with the mash button that I gave my thumb an injury for quite a while.

The story felt short when I had completed this game a while back and it just feels empty, especially when gathering buddies from Ginomorsia. I'm quite disappointed at the lack of character interactions post main story.

Overall, if you like the grinding, gathering, crafting, rng, and the feeling of achieving something I think this this might be the game for you.
