Loving the game so far but i find it odd how we are able to catch non-fish animals like dolphins, turtles and seals before we have any octopus or squid types. (dumbo octopus and vampire squid would be awesome).Please add some to the game! It would also be cool to have species of crab (was dissapointed there was no snow crab in arctic update ). Would also love to see Eels, starfish, and more jellyfish species (esp bioluminescent kind for dark tanks). Please add different corals and anemone types for decoration too!

Great relaxing game you can have on a second screen while working; It can even be set as a screensaver!
Be careful when shopping at other players, there are a lot of hacked fish in rotation (max stats everything)
If you like to grind your own fish, your better off not using the store at all.

ETA: Within 24 hours of posting this review the devs had added new fish, the albino fish option, two new tanks instead of a single one. Say what you will about the end-game grind, I am back and playing. They work *hard* to keep this game interesting, and while the end-game grind is still a lot, I am like...grateful that we have responsive devs. I still think the final achievement should pop sooner, but whatever, like I said, that's a me problem. This game is otherwise lovely. Please try it.

I love this game, but the end-game grind for the last achievement is hugely disproportionate, and unfortunately that part has been tough. I literally only open the game to breed/feed for experience points, there's no longer any point to fishing, or any other game mechanic. I'm going to take a break since I very much think this is a me problem so I am recommending the game.

Things I really like:

Artwork
Decorations
End-game decorations are pretty cool
Social fishing is good esp as someone who isn't all that social
Tank lighting/floor/background options are great
Fish look awesome!
Seasonal extras / fish of the week / dailies are a cool add-on

Downside:

Truly just the end-game grind for 'unlock all the soils.' I'm at level 50 now and there's no end in sight, and I have just been playing the last few days for experience points and no other reason. I wish there was a way to convert gold into experience. I do get frustrated when games like this force you to falsely inflate your play-time when you're not really playing most of the game anymore, and it really is an end-game idler issue. I hope the developers give us some options on this and/or more ways to get experience in the end-game. There's no longer enough aquariums to scale to the levelling, which means it just takes more and more and more time and there's no way to speed that up. So yeah, I'll come back to this game after a lengthy break, I think, since that part for the last achievement is just frustrating. (Again, I know it's a me problem, but I do think anyone who feels the need to get a full deck of achievements may find this particularly frustrating when there's just a single achievement that requires days/weeks of extra pointless grind, and there is no longer any point to the rest of the game unless you really like decorating). I'm sorry! I do know this is a me issue. :(
