This needs VR support, even if it's only seated with headtracking. (like Alien Isolation VR Mod). A Lovecraftian game needs VR...I need this in VR! :)

When you are in the underwater sequence, you need to drop onto a spiked pit. Once down, you need to orient yourself and then escape. During my first play through, I got stuck on this a lot and on the second it is not better. If this could be teaked to not be so frustrating (also, the load point is quite far behind) it would greatly improve the enjoyment of the game, which I, apart from this, found quite enjoyable....

Or is this one of those "Checkpoint Charlie" games? Or, even worse, is it a one-save only game where if you exit before finishing a chapter or an area, you have to resume at the beginning once resuming the game? I'm interested in this game but only if I can manually save my games as I go along. I'm an older gamer who has a finite amount of time for gaming daily. Thanks for any non-sarcastic responses....

Do cheat codes for invulnarability work in this game, cos the chasing monsters are really getting old.
