Happy Happy Hawwwwmp Day! Hope you’re having a great week. We’re looking for a few warmer days – thank goodness! Well – Wayne and I are happy about that but…Cady and Finn…not so much!
Today’s card features a super simple layout that lets our gorgeous DSP do all the work! In this instance, I used my fave – the Lovely Blossoms DSP. And then, I used the Lovely Arrangements stamp set for the sentiment – and a pretty flower image! And don’t miss the Perennial Postage die cut mat! Take a look-see:
I did a quick video on how to make this fun and easy card – which is posted on Instagram. If you’d like to give that a watch – click here!
Okay – this is super quick and easy so…buckle up! It’s SO easy, in fact, that I made FOUR cards – each with a different sentiment from the Lovely Arrangements set. More on that in a minute. First, let’s look at the basic “how to” on the card! 🙂
I started by using the largest Perennial Postage die to cut out a Secret Sea mat. To that, I adhered a 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ piece of the Lovely Blossoms DSP using Liquid Glue.
Using Stampin’ Dimensionals – I adhered the matted panel to the front of my Petal Pink card base.
I tied a simple bow from Old Olive Linen Thread and adhered it with a little dab of Liquid Glue.
On a strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped a Lovely Arrangements sentiment in Old Olive ink.
Then I matted the sentiment on Secret Sea cardstock with Liquid Glue, and adhered it over the bow with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added three Secret Sea Moody Palette Dots and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped a second Lovely Arrangements sentiment in Old Olive ink on a Basic White panel. In the corner, I stamped the Lovely Arrangements flower in Secret Sea ink.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Petal Pink card base and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Lovely Arrangements flower on the front…
…and more of the Lovely Blossoms DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! The Lovely Blossoms suite – with the gorgeous DSP and the coordinating Lovely Arrangements bundle is simply stunning! And – so handy – all the sentiments to mix and match along with pretty floral images? Perfect!
As I mentioned – I actually made four cards – all different sentiments (ALL from the Lovely Arrangements set!) – but..the exact same card!
Each of the cards has a different sentiment and purpose!
I made two birthday cards…
And a card to let someone know you care!
And – of course – the thank you card!
I love how one stamp set can cover so many occasions!
Now – the only thing that really changes on the cards – is the size of the sentiment banner and its mat.
I hope you like!
