[Polygon] – Archive node synchronization issues on Erigon client

Investigating - Summary:
We have identified an issue affecting Polygon dedicated archive nodes running the Erigon client. Nodes are encountering synchronization failures due to repeated bad block validation errors, preventing them from staying in sync with the network.

Impact:
Customers operating Polygon dedicated archive nodes may experience sync interruptions or failed restarts when running the Erigon client. Other node types and clients are not affected.

Flow will undergo the Forte Network Upgrade on October 22, 2025. We do not expect downtime as a result of the upgrade. However, if any critical follow-on updates are released before or after the event, minor interruptions may occur as nodes synchronize to the upgraded network state.

Investigating - We are currently investigating an issue affecting xLayer Testnet. Earlier today, xLayer Testnet underwent an unannounced chain fork which has caused a partial outage of our service on this network.

This issue is limited to the xLayer Testnet environment only.

Our team is actively assessing the changes introduced by the xLayer Testnet fork and working on the necessary adjustments to restore normal operation. Further updates will be provided as progress is made.

This update applies to all Blockdaemon Ethereum nodes on Hoodi, Sepolia, and Holesky network, there will be planned downtime of up to 10 minutes per node.

Scheduled - Blockdaemon will update Solana mainnet nodes to v2.3.10 on 09/29/25. We are updating our nodes due to a release from the Solana foundation. This update applies to all Blockdaemon Solana mainnet nodes, there will be planned downtime of up to 60 minutes per node. Please be aware that depending on the geographic location, some nodes may require more than 60 minutes to fully sync with the network after the upgrade.
