This is the Debian GNU/Linux prepackaged version of the GNU shell
programming utilities, aka sh-utils.
It is maintained by Galen Hazelwood <galenh@micron.net>, and built
from sources obtained from:
ftp://prep.ai.mit.edu/pub/gnu/sh-utils-1.16.tar.gz
It was originally built by Ian Murdock <imurdock@debian.org>, from GNU
sh-utils-1.12.
Changes:
* added Debian GNU/Linux package maintenance system files
* Made cosmetic changes to man/who.1 and man/users.1 ([uw]tmp paths)
* Updated man/date.1 to reflect new -R/--rfc-822 option
* Added terminology warning to uname --help and uname.1
* Altered src/Makefile.in to enable all su logging
* Altered src/su.c to use standard Debian default paths
* Added Lars Wirzenius's patch to src/echo.c to fix bad error handling
* Altered src/su.c to better handle processes without controlling
tty's, according to an algorithm by Ian Jackson
* Upstream patch to lib/getdate.y to fix "tomorrow" and "yesterday"
* Also added "cest" and "cewt" timezones to lib/getdate.y
* Changed src/who-users.c so hostnames are no longer looked up
