Great! Thanks, Peter. I'll check it out. We appreciate you, buddy!!!

Hmmm. That is indeed a weird one.

    Haha, yeah it's pretty neat.

Peter, you can disregard this request mate. I just discovered Microsoft game bar allows you to control volume sliders for different things Including line input, and even allows you to have the widget pop out and stay on top of whatever screen you have in focus. This will more than suffice, for what I'm looking for, so don't worry about it mate :)

Thanks for the reply. Let's see. How about making it a small knob that you can virtually turn kind of like the knobs within the effects tab? And maybe make it an option to appear in the interface. In case others don't need to use it? otherwise, if it's too much hassle, no worries, it's not that big of a deal. Like you said the preamp slider, is there.

Hi Peter can you tell me how to control the volume of a Line-in input source in PEACE? I have my desktop Soundblaster sound card running via spdif toslink into my laptop and I want to be able to control the volume just for that line-in source independently of windows’ main output volume. I know this can be done through the windows mixer, but it would be cool to be able to do it within peace. Is this possible? If not can you add it in the next beta?

Oh wow I thought you were not only the developer of peace but also for equalizerAPO as well. Oh well, I learned something new today lol. But yeah, if that's the case, hopefully you can get in touch with him and see if it's something he's willing to look into.

Wow those were some exciting features coming up! Can't wait to check out the new version! By the way Peter, I’ve been meaning to ask…. are you planning on, or working on support for VST 3? I’m sure a lot of people would love this.

  • Isamu99 Isamu99 posted a comment on discussion General Discussion

Awesome Thanks for the reply. I really appreciate it. I will work on resolving the issues using your tips and suggestions. If it doesn't work, no big deal. :)

Okay, I figured out how to add the audio service as a special permission to my VST plugin, but no change, it still doesn't work. my Valhalla vst plugins work, but none of my isotope osone plugins work and neither do any of my Altiverb plugins work.

Thanks for the reply, Peter. I'm looking forward to the new version of peace that will allow the config files with VST support. As for number 2, i'm having trouble understanding what you mean. Can you please explain what you mean when you say I need to use an include command so that my file can be read? How, in lament terms, do I accomplish this task? As for number 3, I checked out the solution in that link but it didn't work for me. I tried to give it special permissions by right clicking on the...

Hi Peter. Really loving Peace and EQ APO so far! However, I have a three issues/questions I'm hoping you can help me with... 1)The first thing is, how do I load my config files into Peace? In other words, I'm not referring to the config files that you can save from within Peace itself, I'm talking about the ones you can save from the Equalizer APO config interface. For example, I saved a file in EAPO called "config test". I would like to load this into Peace and have it listed in the GUI frontend...

Thanks for the reply Peter. No worries it’s OK. I actually found a plugin for foobar that allows me not only to load impulse response files but to make slight tweaks and adjustments to them. it's called Convolver(gapless). On a side note I’ve been meaning to compliment you on something. Within Peace, we have the effects tab, and boy do I love this section! Absolute wonderful job with the work you’ve done on that effects section. I absolutely enjoy messing around with the stereo widening and surround...

Thanks for the reply. Yes, if you can take a look at it and come up with a solution that would be great my friend :)

Hi, Peter. Hope you're doing well. Just a quick question. How do you make adjustments or tweaks to convolution impulse response files within peace or EAPO, after loading them?. Is this possible? Would be nice to tinker with the settings within those files to adjust their reburb effects.

Thank you so much, buddy. I will try and get this done when I get some time. So stay tuned :)

In disregard I figured it out. i have to select windows primary sound device in order for it to playthrough equalizer APO. That's kind of unfortunate, because it would be nice to have foobar select my sound card in exclusive mode for better sound quality, while still having it play through equalizer APO. Is there no way to set it up this way?

Thank you, sir. I forgot to ask... How do you setup Equalizer APO so that whatever effects are active, can be heard while using another software player like foobar? Right now I have the Equalizer APO configurator running and an effect active but I'm not hearing any changes.

Hello Peter. Thank you. That is very helpful. Information. okay, I will keep that mind. Does EAPO support IRS files?

Hi Xarion and thanks for your reply. if it's not too much trouble, can you explain exactly how I would go about doing this? i'm not even sure what you mean by stereo impulse response.

Hi guys. I am not an engineer and don't plan on doing any sort of mastering or music manipulation. The reason for my inquiry is because I'm a serious music listener and someone that likes to listen to my music with a slight, reverb-y "concert hall" type of effect. Has anyone ever owned one of the vintage Yamaha HT receivers from circa 1998-2000? Well, if you have you'll remember that one of their early models, the RX-V493 has a few built in DSP effects. One of which is Concert Hall. This particular...

Hi guys good to be here :) I was just wondering. For those of you who are familiar with or have used Foobar2K to listen to music, you'll know it has its own set of DSP plugins including EQ and reverb effects. So I was just wondering, is there any difference or improvement in sound quality when applying effects like reverb using Equalizer APO over Foobar2K, in Windows 10/11? I've been a foobar user for so long and I love using reverb to add a bit of ambience to some of the music I listen to, but it...
