This release completes a long standing upgrade to the code which had left some issues, particularly
It includes the following major features:
- Air Gap Elements, AKA sliding mesh, for efficient modelling of rotating systems.
- femmcli, a command line interface for running lua scripts (thanks to @jzarl )
xfemm has two components, cfemm and mfemm. cfemm is cross-platform femm, and is the C++ code on which the toolkit is based. mfemm is a mex interface to cfemm for Matlab and Octave, and a set of functions for creating and manipulating problems.
Further instructions are provided in the individual release packages.
The linux release includes the linux binaries in the cfemm/bin directory.
The windows release includes an installer to install the binaries.
