  • I bought a new pc with Windows 10. Bought a Dell monitor without speakers. Bought Logitech z313 speaker system but the subwoofer would not come in with the stock sound card. Added sourceforge PC equalizer, problem solved!
  • I'm on ver. 1.3.1.11 (absolutely clean in the eyes of reputable AVs) and it's an absolute life-saver for select Toshiba laptops. At some point, a new Win10 update (1709 I believe) broke the functionality of the DTS Studio Sound app on Harman Kardon-equipped Toshibas (mine is a P50-A), so the sound got very tinny. After some tinkering, this piece of software got it back and even better than before (maybe a bit quiet but that's OK). It also allows you to blow your speakers up for free :D P.S. Don't forget that it's basically an Equalizer APO graphical interface add-on. You get APO first and then this. (Pls someone correct me if I'm wrong)
  • Hey Bilal, Finally an update again! :) (v1.3.2.00) Looking forward to the improvements you've made, one thing I noticed was that all the 20 iTunes presets are misspelled as 'iTuens' consistently lol. I'm not an apple fan so I don't bother, but just one bug that I noticed when I was linking the preset folder to the one on my Dropbox. This has been my number 1, equalizer APO skin since I started using an equalizer since about 1,5 year ago. Great project so far!
  • great
  • Equalizador para Windows, funciona perfeitamente com Win10
  • A great, lovely, well designed system-level EQ that gives me the functionality that I lost when i upgraded to w10 to find out that the audio eq software my soundcard came with no longer works on it. It's insane to me that there isn't an official system-level EQ in Windows these days, but the shock is easily salved by this very functional EQ, which as of writing now competes head to head with the software i once had in just about every way. The UI is clear and would only gain that last star if there were a few more features to the processing -- namely a reverb, the multi-tap delay is fun but i'm not finding much function for it, but a lovely lush reverb on the other hand would definitely give the system audio that added atmosphere that certainly was welcome on my last operating system (btw, it's the Sound Blaster X-FI audio mixer w/ effects that came along with the card that i keep referencing, and can no longer get to function on w10) and if the user could switch from having to clear out an update notification EVERY time they opened it once there was one available. Some indication of how much CPU the EQ/processing might be using would also be a great built in feature for future versions. The other functional oddity is that the X to close doesn't function, i have to go down to the icon on the bottom of my desktop, right click, then go to close window to close the app. This is the only time i've ever seen this and i can't figure out why. Otherwise, stellar, stable software that deserves support from its' users. A good EQ should be able to do subtle and drastic changes equally well to an audio signal. The ability to save presets is highly prized for headphone enthusiasts like myself, really helps me dial in the right setting for every pair. Each frequency band is fixed but they are now at very familiar intervals, and the switchable set of bands between 10 and 20 along with the buttons along the bottom of the EQ help create a logical set of boosts or cuts to a number of bands at once, allowing the user to sweeten or diminish certain areas of the spectrum. Totally usable EQ that i can only see getting better as time goes on. Get it!

  • I love using this GUI. The controls at the bottom for moving multiple sliders at once are fantastic. There is one usability problem I have repeatedly which is why I rated it only 4 stars: when I change 1 or more sliders, the name of my current preset goes away, and then it is difficult to get the program to update my preset by name. I have to either retype the name in (or copy+paste), or I have to select the name again, click "No", and then click save, then click "Yes". Overall this makes it much easier to decrease the bass on my headphones when needed. Thanks!

  • This is awesome. I use this for gaming and a flat screen monitor with built in speakers that sound really tinny. This makes the monitor sound great! As well, the game I play has a simulated "wave scanner" that has poor audio fidelity. I am hard of hearing, so now I can isolate sounds I need to hear with this that I cannot hear otherwise. For someone with hearing impairment, this is a godsend, thank you for all of your work!
