wow it's been such a longtime since I used Shareaza almost 6 or little more years.
Last week I just thought I should try it again.
And I am really very happy with the download speeds I am getting while using Shareaza.
It was my favourite P2P app then and it's now too.
Keep up the good work. I hope there are more improvements with torrent downloads basically related to selecting specific files in the download as well as downloading each file separately instead of single file.

since end of 2012 iy shareaza connect ONLY to eDonkey and not any more to one of lla ore anythinks else. So I imagine with this update now I will get the gnutella and DC++ back but nothing new is happend.

VirusTotal comes up with Gen:Variant.Graftor.60471 (B) malware. Typical SourceForge to wrap it in malware.

I've been using Shareaza for the longest time. I started using on the recommendation of a techie about 12 years ago. Has it been that long?! Initially, the consensus was: Use Shareaza for smaller files and turn off it's bit torrent features and use a dedicated bt client. I don't remember whether I've ever used anything other than BitTornado (for any length of time), but that's what I've used for a long, long time. And it's served me well, even if Shareaza is now safe to use. (I don't mean 'safe' exactly.) I am a very, very light user of Shareaza actually. I download more television shows and movies than I do smaller mp3 files. Even then, I don't go crazy downloading. I download a few shows I watch and the odd movie. I'm finding my returns with Shareaza to be very unsatisfactory (sometimes). And it may have absolutely nothing to do with Shareaza. Shareaza is neutral, I realize. The crap that's out there is the crap that's out there (like Limewire returns that tell you to do something to remove their ads, lol!) Seeing how I don't know how to tweak and do port forwarding (and can't play with much anyway, since I'm getting free wifi and the equipment is in some apartment I don't have access to), I have to put my sad returns down to the crap out there and, perhaps, to my 64 bit pc on which my 32 bit Shareaza is installed. But Shareaza has been a major contributor to this person's sanity (the music), for which I'll always be grateful. I'm dirt poor and can't donate. I don't even have a credit card. But I would if I could.
