Improvements

  • First version of 3rd party API has been developed, which includes read of projects (users, activities, comments), experiments/tasks (connections, protocol, users, activities, tags, assigned inventory items), inventories (items, columns), reports and results.
  • Projects dashboard screen has been redesigned into three separate projects tabs (Active, Archived and All), having two viewing options (list and card view); also, overall look of project cards has been updated.
  • Tooltips that guide users through the main SciNote functionalities have been implemented. They can be activated from Settings -> Account -> Preferences -> Help tips.
  • Date format for all date fields that are displayed throughout the application, can now be customized. This setting can be changed from Settings -> Account -> Preferences -> Date format.
  • Step and text result descriptions can now be longer, and are now limited to 50,000 characters.
  • Performance of Protocol steps page has been improved.
  • Sign-up page has been slightly restyled.

Bug fixes

  • Issue that prevented users from importing protocols.io files into SciNote, has been resolved.
  • Protocol steps that have longer table names can be saved normally.
