    I love Notepad++. It's extremely versatile, and as a writer, web designer for my own sites, and a computer programmer, I can't tell you enough how useful this program is.

    Not since HTMLEdit (1993) or the great BBEdit (bare bones) .. both Mac exclusive, and ground breaking. Not since those has there been such a brilliant editor... wipes the floor with all of them. Great job. I wil be certain to make a donation. Jedit was good, but sucks old socks these days, this is the baby. The winner is NotePad ++ Thank you ps. this editor makes Bill Gates look silly, love it. x

    Notepad++ is my syntax-highlighting editor of choice. Even without plugins, it is a superb editor. However, plugins such as TextFX make it even better. Even when I'm not using NPP as an editor, I use it to view files such as XML while working on a development project.
