    I've been using MPC for over 8 years and every time I try another player, I keep coming back. The user interface is intuitive and it has so many useful features like instant snapshot, and audio sync, adjustments. But the real winner is the ability to adjust the screen size to any dimension you want. This one feature alone makes it the ONLY choice for a home theater whether you use a LCD, LED, Plasma flat panel or projector. I know cause I have them all. I install this on every one of the home theaters I have helped set up, and everyone loves it. Give it a try, it's Free, and it kicks Windows Media players butt!

    Love the program, but for some reason it stopped working today- won't play Matroska, MPEG4 or DVD files. I came to this site and got the update, but the same problems remain. I'd prefer to keep using this, but with so many formats off the table it's not practical.

    Very happy with my experience so far. It has been easy to use, as it is already a couple of steps hooking up the TV to the computer, and often takes me 10 minutes by the time I pick out a show. Thank you!

    i wonder it supports most of video formats very wel . i had some interrupted video files but this player could play them

    Brighten does not work very well. Play the beginning of "Out For Justice" movie on MPC and then on VLC to compare. MPC is so dark you can't see some of the movie.

    Excellent piece of software...turns all my videos into cyan/green 3d! Don't know how it manages to do that but it works GREAT! Have been looking for a good 2d to 3d program and this one is it (or uses something already on my computer)! Thanks

    the player is very very complete an light to the computer, whats the email of the author ?, he can made the mp3 downloader , download the files in original bitrate ( Kpbs ), the bitrate of the source, or even better, see the bitrate in the results of the search

    It´s really fantastic! I Use H264 and a Netbook assus and the movie play a big lot better than the flash movie and I do not wy..but is it! Guys I need hel on this! I Work as teacher in a Workshop School In Audiovisual Mendia. I´m working now in the technical design of the Classroom and the server (that will be a video server for a cable operator) here in Colonia Baron, La Pampa, Argetina. We are 3K people linving her it´s a little town. For the server I will use Windows 7 64 Bits, 4GB RAM ..etc... Through a VPN I will admin the server from the class room. The server will have a HDMI conversor to SDI so the desktop will be our screen for the viewers. My Question is how can I manage the play List from a VCN conection. I has try to make changes in the playlist file in the Notepad++ = nothings happend. I try to use the function of after the end of a file played go next taht it´s at the menu, but the file doesnt work... How cay I talk with the application without touching the menu because that will be a disruption in the viewer experience., I could use two monitors in the server and work in the principal for that, but I really dont know how can I do the job. I must do: 1) Make changes of the programmation twice a day. Every day. 2)delet the older files for disk space saving If somebody could help me I can exchage with a PHP we used for programin a Interactive TV Channel, using a cell phone with SMS. I Only know some basic of programming but I could read it... Thanks a Lot!!!! Daniel
