-> MANTI.pl - MQ Advanced N-Termini Interpreter . pl targetP2 predictions README Here you can download TargetP2.0 [1] predictions which can be used for proteolytic processing annotation with MANTI.pl; choose your prediction file and unzip the corresponding file into a folder of your choice. These annotations are used for the assignment of putative signal-/transit-peptide cleavages which are currently not yet annotated in the UniProt reference proteomes as of the 2020-11-22. Integration into MANTI.pl is performed via the --join-targetP switch where you need to supply the exact, unpacked (non-ZIP'd) TargetP2.0 prediction file location. The data was downloaded via the website http://www.cbs.dtu.dk/services/TargetP/data.php on 2020-11-30 and assembled with a standalone, local TargetP2.0 installation in the case of the rat predictions. For the rat TargetP2.0 predictions the rat UniProt [2] reference proteome was downloaded from https://www.uniprot.org/proteomes/ on 2020-11-22 including isoforms and processed with the non-plant switch of TargetP2.0. The prediction file is available from here as a reference for the supplied MANTI Tutorial and the community.
