This tools is one of the greatest. I am so happy to be able to sync my office calendar (where I have to use Notes) with my google account. As far as Dean has updated to V3 I will treat our team (all are using the tool) to send a donation. THANKS Uschi

What a great and useful application this was, but now : "ServiceForbiddenException: Forbidden" ... Please fix !!!

Awesome until now. Like others, some change at Google has caused the sync to stop working. Help! Seems like it's been about 1 week.

In general it is a great tool which helps to get the data from my office calendar into my private calendar. But as already mentioned it is no more working :o( Find googles explanation: "Unusual traffic from your computer network" notification What to do when Google detects automated queries on your network When Google detects that a computer or phone on your network may be sending automated traffic to Google we may show the following message: "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network." The error page most likely displays a CAPTCHA (a squiggly word with a box below it). To continue using Google, type the squiggly word into the box -- it's how we know you're a human, not a robot.

The java script need to be updated to show the CAPTCHA field that google puts up nowdays. Perhaps the code exists in this project: opensourcecaptchasolver?

Latest version 2.5.3 fixed the issue: com.google.gdata.util.ServiceForbiddenException. However, not sure why a client ID is required since " Lotus Notes to Google Calendar tool" works fine without a client ID.

Same problem here too. ServiceForbiddenException: Forbidden. Apparently Google has tightened its filter to catch automated access. I do not think that this was Google's intention, but Google, now a big company, is as heavy-handed as all big companies are, so I have little hope for asking Google to change their filtering and actually having them do that.

I had the same issue as dondiegodevega. this tool worked great for over a year and now I get an error message after the tool logs into Google. "There was an error synchronizing. com.google.gdata.util.ServiceForbiddenException: Forbidden Sorry...but your computer or network may be sending automated queries. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now." Any ideas on what changed. Sounds like it is on the Google side.

2.4 works well for me like all the other versions before it. Did get the Google login error but a simple PC restart seemed to fix that. Would like to be able to select what items of my calendar are synced. ie Reminders, Anniversary. If its marked Private just ignore/skip it. Few little customizations would be great

Easy to setup (no admin authorization required), works in background (except changing proxy password). Enhancement request (can't log in the forum to ask and trello send me to the forum) : i'd like to sync more than all 59 minutes max otherwise i am blamed by my system administrator (it consumes bandwidth). Thanks for your job.

Didn't work for me. Didn't find the Notes Account. It might not be popular here, but save your time and invest 20 bucks in www.awesync.com

I've found this as the only sync program which works consistently. I've tried several others from SourceForge and I get intermittent results at best. This was simple to set up and I now carry my Notes calendar on my iPod. The only thing to make it better would be bi-directional synchronization.
