  • I have not used KernelEx yet, but the idea is good!
  • Perfect job, thank you so much for discussing
  • Great project! Now I can forget about all Win98 WinAPI restrictions in my code. :)
  • works for me! Allows older OS to keep running, and me to navigate & use without expletives about "why did it do THAT when I wanted it to do THIS?!?!" Microsoft made a LOT of changes for no reason. This allows previous knowledge and familiarity to remain current. tom
  • Kernel Ex is awesome!! I got Firefox 3.6 to work on my computer that's running "Windows ME." It's a great way to keep older computers functioning. Kernel Ex is proof that it CAN be done, the big corporations just don't see the profit in it. Do a google search of "Microsoft Planned Obsolescence" for more details. Keep up the cool work!
  • Makes your late-90s era PC that was in your bas****t almost as functional as a new computer.
  • I was able to install Firefox 3.6 "Great Job"! on my Win98se OS however I noticed a couple of shortcomings i.e. I am not able to open more then 1 window at a time via my desktop shortcuts as with XP or the pre 3.xxx versions however I can ctrl+n and drop shortcuts in a new window, I guess I will need to use the tabs for multi sessions... Flash 10 and Java 1.6.21 are issues. Hoping for the next revision soon.
  • A great potion to revive old Windows !
