  • Latest Version (org.eclipse.cdt.cross.arm.gnu_0.5.5) is not able to generate the compiler flags -mfloat-abi=softfp -mfpu=fpv4-sp-d16 -gdwarf-2 from the data filled in on the C++ Build/Settings/Target Processor page :-((((
  • My interest is in cross-compiling to a Raspberry Pi running the "official" Raspian OS from Debian Linux on Apple OSX. I am using Eclipse 3.8 Indigo and Sourcery G++ Lite 2010.09-110 release data 2011.04.27. The names of the executables in this version of Sourcery Codebench are like, for instance, arm-none-linux-gnueabi-g++ instead of the name arm-none-eabi-g++ that is wired into the plugin. The workaround was to provide symlinks to the executables using the name format expected by the plugin. Once that was done everything worked perfectly. Thank you for a great tool!
  • I were managing my projects with a Makefile, now I am changing to this plugin :-) Thank you!!

  • After trying to put together an Eclipse-based env for Cortex (STM32), I found this plugin. In a few minutes, I was compiling code. Also, questions posted to the help forum are responded to very quickly. Thanks to all supporting this site!

  • I took me awhile to get it setup on eclipse on ubuntu for my Cortex-m3 demo kit, finally managed to do it, saved me a lot of trouble and time. Keep up the good work.
  • Makes life a lot easier. Should be put in tutorials and docs for setting up Eclipse for ARM
