ArchEX Linux Live System Reviews

I really wanted to try this but booting the media with a USB stick I'm greeted with a login screen needing a password? :( I've seen this happen before with revoked bootloader, only way to fix I know of is by updating the bootloader. Please fix this :(

It's true that I tried in virtualbox, but it failed to boot in uefi. It is installed with Legacy stick and works fine. I just want to ask if it's just me that didn't work or it doesn't work in uefi? Thanks in advance for the helpful answers.

De las peores distros que he probado, y mira que he probado cosas. Si la pudiese definir con una palabra sería "despropósito". Por cierto es bastante patético que el desarrollador (aunque yo en lugar de desarrollar usaría el verbo perpetrar) valore con 5 estrellas su distro. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3 Desktops (yes 3: LXQT, LXDE and Deepin 20 Beta), Yaourt (not longer maintained; last release is from Juli 2017)... seriously??? On top of that: Writing a review of your own work is so sad.... My review in just one sentence: Jack of all trades, master of none.

Wow! Been using this distro for the last couple of months!!! Replace a partition (encrypted) with calamares works perfect; no need for a separate boot partition on msdos. Set yourself up on installation as a "temp" user, then after installation to hard drive take over ownership of the exton home folder with whatever user name you wish, which will then give you all default home folders and files. Then delete "temp" if you wish. ( you will see why). Will have to setup pamac-aur yourself after install which is easy to do with "yay" (google it). This distro works flawlessly where others will let you down although there are other good ones out there too! Easy to install Xfce (my favorite) after if you wish beside existing deepin, lxde and lxqt. Just can't say enough how well this works and uses low system resources.
