You don't have to install sPOP Note.
if you run a unix system:
change directory to bin
type ./spop_note
(if error look if you can start the script (chmod a+x spop_note))

or for unix/win? 
change directory to lib 
and type in
python main.py

#Not typical hotkeys#

sPOP Note got not the typical Control Hotkeys,
sPOP Note use instead of Control Alt(Mod1).
