I have tried bringing in the code into Visual Studio Code to compile it, but it seems to need an old .Net framework. Ok, Problemlösung: Ich musste den Laptop wieder an das Mischpult anschließen, damit der richtige Audioquelle vorhanden ist. Anscheinend funktioniert das komplette Tool NICHT mehr, wenn die bisherige Audioquelle nicht mehr vorhanden ist. Ich hatte es manuell in der Setting-Datei versucht, auf die Standard Audioquelle einzustellen. Hat jedoch nicht funktioniert. Lösung wäre, erst einmal abzufragen, ob Audioquelle vorhanden, ansonsten ein Fallback.

hello. seems like i'm having a very similar issue. we recently switched from a USB Behringer 1204USB mixer to a USB Mackie mixer. It seems like meanwhile, there are 64 bit libs available for all of the files I looked at. Anyway, applying them will be quite some work, as they have the same name as the 32 bit dlls. So, I will need to switch between them, depending on the system SR is running on. Or I would need to supply two different installers. I don't eveen know what would be feasible. :-/ So, there is still a lot of reading and trying to be done before there will be a release supporting full 64 bit compatibility.

Errors 2 and 3 are due to the fact that there's something going wrong in the moment of Error1. What if you try something really crappy: copy your rthdasio.dll to rthdasio64.dll. No idea what will happen then. However, SR is 32 bits only so far due to the used libraries. So it somehow makes sense that this library is trying to select a 32 bit asio driver on the system. Is there a possibility to install a 32 bit driver as well? I will try to find out if there is a 64 bit library available as well....

Ok. If I just install the program I can not get it to start at all. I get the hour glass but no gui. I look in the log an get the errors above. Now, if I install ASIO4ALL I can get it to start. The first error I encounter is attached. It allows me to continue and opens the program. I then go to setup and I get error2 ( I will attache below because of the limit). I can continue. I have my yeti plugged in to test. When I change the input to it and try to close the setup dialog I get error3 (which will...

That is the problem. Nothing. I installed asio4all driver. It starts but a bunch of different issues occur. I will try to report back with what I get.

Unfortunately, I have not had the chance to test asio extensively so far. Does my application give you any error message as well? That might give us a hint how far the initialization has proceeded at this point. However, this rthdasio(64).dll is not part of my installation. I suppose it originates from your sound card's installation package. Maybe, the registration of these libraries is faulty? Does SR work on standard Windows sound devices, e.g. if you remove the asio device or configure it dif...

genau, richtig wieder gegeben. auf pc1 läuft beamer software usw. auf pc2 (15m weiter) läuft sermon recorder. dieser pc ist direkt an unser Mischpult angeschlossen vorne auf der Bühne. wir starten auf pc1 eine remote Verbindung, um auf pc2 die aufnahme zu starten. sobald ich die remote verbindung schließe und neu starte, dann hört er komplett auf, aufzunehmen. ich weis auch nicht wieso es so ist. ohne fehler. nur dass die balken sich nicht mehr bewegen. es scheint, eine kurze hardware Unterbrechung...

Also, ich verstehe zwei Sachen nicht: 1) Dein Setup. Was bedeutet bei dir "windows remote"? Mal ein kurzes Schaubild: Bediener - PC1 - PC2 - Audio-Interface - Mischpult - Mikro - Redner Ich verstehe das so: Der Bediener für SermonRecorder sitzt vor PC1. PC2 wird per Remote control von PC1 aus bedient, z.B über VNC oder Team view. Auf welchem PC läuft SermonRecorder? PC2, oder? Oder machst du sowas wie die Verbindungsfreigabe von der FritzBox? Wieso sollte die Verbindung PC2 - Audio-Interface getrennt...

gibt es denn Code technisch etwas, was man ändern kann, damit er bei kurz gekappter hardware (was bei windows remote leider so ist), trotzdem weiterläuft? oder zumindest eine Fehlermeldung erzeugt? leider ist dann aber auch die komplette aufnahme im eimer. andernfalls musste ich von windows remote weg und eine alternative finden.

Sorry for the delay, Samuel. I am very busy nowadays, so there will not be quick fix/update that includes this change. I've had a short look in the code and unfortunately, including this without autocut active seems possible, but definitely is a bigger change.

Hi We sucessfully use Sermon Recorder but recently had a strange problem. Sometimes the application froze and the green input bars stopped moving without any error message. Restarting application helped. It seemes like this was due to a loose audio cable, I was able to reproduce the problem by quickly unplug/plug the cable in the computer. /David

Update at the ticket After I have updated the driver for the sound card, I can start the application, but only with version SermonRecorder_0.8.2-Setup-170114 I get another issue this time As you can see at the pic "Image 006.png" the Settings is wrong and even if I adjust it, it will not go further Just many error codes

Nachdem ich das Problem auf einem meiner Computer reproduziert bekommen hatte, war ich eine Zeit lang in Diskussion mit dem Programmierer der BASS-Library, die ich verwende. Denn mein Programm bekommt im Fehlerfall einen Fehler von BASS: BASS_ERROR_UNKNOWN - nicht sehr hilfreich. Kurzum, Aufnahme funktionierte auf meiner "schlechen" Maschine auch mit z.B. Audacity nicht, und so kam ich letztlich zu der Einstellung unter Windows - Einstellungen - Datenschutzeinstellungen...

I'm not familiar with printing debug reports, I'll have to look up how to do that. In the meantime, I suspect the cause to be related to the input, i.e. missing drivers, because when I hooked the PC up to the mixer I found that there was a problem with the drivers. I have downloaded new Yamaha drivers and will try again on Sunday. If that fails, I'll try to get you a debug report. Thanks for the feedback I think that it might be 2 different type of mode Auto split ot manual split The two should not take out each other, but you should be able to choose which mode you want to split the tracks You have the rights about adding an extra button, for example name it like Split or New track

Interesting point. To split recordings afterwards, I am using MP§DirectCut, which is working without re-encoding. Anyway, an interesting point... There could be an additional button for splitting, for instance. But I don't know when I could even check for how difficult this change would be... Would it make sense to have this option instead of the AutoSplit or when AutoSplit is running? The second option would surely be more simple, since splitting is already prepared then...

Hello Matthias, sorry for the late answer but I got access just today to the system I experience the issue on. Sadly, the results aren't good: if I replace everything but bass.net.dll, I get the same behaviour (error on startup and accessing the config form). If I replace bass.net.dll the exe won't run, no matter what else I replace: the process just starts and stops after a few seconds without any message.

Hi. I manage recordings at the Church at home and today has a program where you can click on the "new track". Then the program makes so that it becomes a new track manually. See that you can turn on so this happens automatically, but I want to be able to do it manually. Is there as an option, or can it be as a improvment? Best regards and blessed Samflo36

Really strange. First of all, I can't reproduce the problem with an additional USB Sound Card which I still have at hand. The combination of hipsets surely is not the same, but... Anyway, I can start SR and change the inputs - no problem. Thanks for the screenshots! I think I know where the failue is issued, but I don't know why. Somehow, the failure message looks kind of distorted compared to what I usually see as failure message. The problem is that an object is referenced which is not pointing...

Some more info: if I start the software with the main soundcard as Windows default, and then I select the secondary one from settings, I need to restart the software to apply the settings. After I restart it, I get the Error: BASS_ERROR_ALREADY message. After that, by the way, the software runs and correctly uses the USB soundcard. For what concerns the original issues, it's fixed: the %S and %T parameters are correctly passed to CMD, and I see from the tooltip that there also are all the parameters...

This happens only when I have my USB soundcard set as default in Windows. It runs normally if I detach the USB soundcard, or if I set the internal one as default in Windows settings. It the latter case, it also correctly detects the USB soundcard. This seems to be a regression, because I used the latest stable version with the USB card...

Hello Matthias, thanks for your answer. In my tests, %S and %T don't seem to be accepted as command line parameters (it passes litterally "%S" and "%T" if I put them). In the help tooltip, only recorded file paths are in fact listed. Thanks

yes. we need it once a month. or more often sometimes the series are mixed with each other , ifthere is a guest preacher. ok for the first time we will use the field in the settingsdialogue

Hmmm... not really, to my understanding. I wonder how often you need to change that setting? Will it be so often that you need this in the main, dummy-resistant dialogue? Or would it also be OK to keep it as is in the settings dialogue? Are the series "in one sequence" or are they also mixed with each other? Btw: Simply shifting the field to the other form is not possible, due to the program structure. Having both possibilities will be a complex solution, maybe too complex for most users to understand...

Great! It's working. Now the textfield (and maybe the checkbox for users, who don't need an series title) could be moved to the frontend and renamed to "Predigtserie". So ther would be no need to programm a lot. Only move the textbox and checkbox and rename. Great :-)

Functionality still to be fixed... @Kevin: As I have no experience with this Sermon Manager - would you please share two files: 1) With the ID3 tag just as SermonRecorder currently generates it. 2) Same file with a test sermon series tag, e.g. in "Album", which is recognized by Sermon Manager by default I will then try to generate the tag in SR just as it should be by default for SM. If that doesn't work, we could also contact the developers...

Hi. Definitiv! "Sermon Manager" heißt die Free-Version. Bei der PRO-Version sind sie zur Zeit noch in Entwicklung. (Es gibt zwar noch ein anderes große Predigten Plugins, welche auch iTunes Podcasts unterstützen, aber damit sind wir sehr zufrieden). Es gibt ein zusätzliches "Sermon Manager Importer" Plugin, was zukünftig in der PRO-Version integriert sein wird. Dieses regelt den automatischen Import von MP3-Dateien und liest die Daten aus dem ID3-Tag raus, sodass Gemeinden nur noch die aufgenommenen...
