Android 1.4.0
Toonstruck DOS CD-ROM
During the second CD you need to retrieve a mini Treasure Chest from a fishbowl on the landing of the first floor.
Here you must examine this chest (right mouse button) to obtain a key, this unfortunately is impossible.
Checked this also on the PS3 1.4.1 where this is working, select the Chest using Circle button.
originalxor: Please can you attach a savegame to this bug to aid replication...
originalxor: Can you also confirm that this is not a misunderstanding of how to do a "right click" with an Android Touchscreen i.e. http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/Android :
" Tap + movement: Mouse movement
Tap without movement: Left mouse button click
Tap held for >0.5s without movement: Right mouse button click
Tap held for >1s without movement: Middle mouse button click
Double Tap + movement: Drag and drop
On devices supporting multitouch:
Two finger tap: Right mouse button click
Three finger tap: Middle mouse button click
"
Sorry I thought I'd attached the savegame.
Extra info, Android version running on Samsung Galaxy S2.
Regarding the Right Mouse button, I don't seem to be able to do this, I have tried both Direct & Touchpad mode, but neither appear to trigger RMB on my device.
Incidentally I have noticed I need to double tap everything, i.e. the Botomless Bag (inventory) requires a double tap and not a single tap as it was on the original PC version, same goes for picking up objects or indeed interacting.
Savegame For Replication
Uploaded savegame sent to me by bug submitter.
Either couldn't work out how to attach or SF.net file upload to artifact is being flakey again
(I have been having intermittent download of file artifacts as 404 HTML content instead of data over the last month :/)
originalxor: This sound like it may be an Android, rather than a Toon specific problem. Can you confirm whether this is Toon specific by finding another game to test with that uses right click... i.e. such as Beneath a Steel Sky, Flight Of The Amazon Queen or a demo...
Okay, I have checked both Beneath a Steel Sky (CD) & Broken Sword (1) and can confirm that the Android Touchpad system works as expected on those as in both Left & Right mouse buttons work as outlined for multitouch devices (and your comment). Also neither of these suffer titles with the Double Click issue as Toonstruck does.
This looks like another "engine is completely ignoring mouse down events" bug, so a variant of bug #3468449 (ANDROID: no faked delay for clicks).
