(1) With multiple email accounts I get a "draft",
"inbox" and "outbox" with each. Rather irritating IMO
if one has eg. six email accounts. IMO one should have
an option to use the first created draft, inbox and
outbox OR a separate set. Or only the first option.

(2) One should have a "filter report" like Eudora. So
that one knows where mail goes. See my page at ;

Can be implemented as such (like 'user prefered folders
sets). I'll have to suggest this in the developer's list to see
    what others think of this.

I have had this suggestion earlier and it should be rather easy
to implement. Has been scheduled for the RK release,

    About me and others:
I use different email accounts for different purposes. It's my method of organization, analogous to people using rules for sorting incoming email into different folders/inboxes. Also, there are people who don't even care to keep email, and just delete them after reading them. Didn't want to forget about them. :) Why haven't I used rules before? Cause I don't get that much mail and would rather manually sort them.

    Sorting methodology:
Thinking in a more far-reaching manner... the different inboxes for each account represent one inbox with different rules for sorting mail to other folders (thus if you have 6 accounts, 6 additional rules). This is a more advanced approach as it unifies sorting into one method. A hierarchical sorting tree can exist (even though Arthur hates sub-sub folders :).

    Suggestion for implementing:
You could have the OPTION to combine all the inboxes and outboxes into one set (right under "Account" in the folder tree). Much like the Repository, except that you could keep the same folder structure in windows as before (one folder and subfolders for each account, as viewed in windows explorer). Having the option set for "global inbox and outbox" would simply combine all the files from all the inbox folders for VIEWING them in the global inbox (same for the global outbox).
As a result, this will also mean the ability to create common folders right under "Account", and these would show up as folders alongside the account trees. Therefore no account.ini = common folder?

Do we want to do this?

    PROS:
    we satisfy some users

    CONS:
we add yet another option, increasing the complexity of using the program
increases the complexity of the code

I think it's worth adding the option, considering many mail clients take on the unified inbox approach.

ps. I think the Drafts folder should be deprecated, regardless of anything else. Right now it just takes up space. We use the 'outbox with queue' method, and I don't see an any advantage to using the Drafts folder. IMO, with the onset of email threading, every folder will have outbox capability. "Outbox" would be reserved for emails with no parent email: a new email.

    I need this feature, too.
The possibility to enable it should be there.
