1. Select an area to record
2. Start recording
3. End recording
4. There are no selected area.
If I want to record next video in the same area then I have to select it again but it should be remembered.

That isn't a bug, you only must unchecked the checkbox "Reset Capture Area" in the "Misc" Menue.

I have unchecked the "Reset Capture Area" box, but after stopping the recording, the capture area moves from where I had it to the upper left corner of the screen.

I am using version 0.3.8-3ubuntu5 on ubuntu 11.04
