I am using RADlab for gamma spectroscopy and linear attenuation coefficient determination using NaI. I use RADlab on linux. First of all, I noticed that there was not capitalized filename (data/gamma/air instead of data/gamma/Air).
My problem is to observe background (so without any sources). In fact there is no background on MCA. There is only one point at the channel 0 whose value is equal to time detection. How I can solve this problem?
