I have played Race 0.9 and am thoroughly impressed :)
I would like to make a request regarding the controls.
I have notice in playing and in reading
happypenguin.org comments that people find the control
system unusual or awkward.
I suggest that it is the lock-on/lock-off steering which
causes this.
When you steer one way, the steering lock comes on
gradually to full-lock. Then when you stop steering, the
lock once again comes off gradually.
Comparing this to other games of the same ilk, the norm
is for the lock to come on gradually and as the control is
released (straightened), the lock comes off immediately.
This seems the most intuitive system for games like this.
