Let's suppose someone wanted to submit flash cards to learn something that would require some visual component to the flash cards....

I'm seeking some flash-card based apps that would allow me to learn sign language. It would seem these would need graphics, though.

Graphics are good for learning any language as you want to create a link in your brain between the word and what that word represents. Instead you end up creating a link between a word in one language and a word in another language, then you have to translate on the fly. Not a bad thing, just not always what you are going for.

I agree, images would be useful to learn the Braille code, for example.

    Hello,

Pauker is really great - one can concentrate on learning and can forget the card management.

The last thing missing is the possibility of adding graphics to a card. This would be very good for learning structurs of molecules.
I added aminoacids by converting their pictures to text with Jave (250 signs per line) and pasting it in font size 1 - but this is not very good and depending on resolution and monitor one can read the numbers inside the structus or not...

So please - graphics would be best!

    Thanks for this great tool
