I had the issue with version 4.6.0 of CalDavSynchronizer and Outlook 2016 that if Outlook crashes, it seems to start a batch deletion of calendar entries. Like hundreds of them. It seems to be starting with the oldest ones and as soon as I realized it, I could close outlook. Everything works fine again when I create a new mail profile. But I lost years of calendar data! And hundreds of former co-workers received invite cancellations.

It would be great if CalDavSynchronizer could give a warning before deleting a batch of items (e.g. configurable threshold amount like 10, 50, 100) as a Safe Guard!

Ideally the user could be asked if the deletion is intentional before committing the delete. If the user declines the deletion should be hold back (e.g. flush the cache, do a full sync again, etc.). In my real life experience the deletion of 100+ items is a rare exception and usually it's mainly about creating/modifying/updating/deleting a "handful" of items, not hundreds in one sync.
