Greetings, When I have audio segmentation turned on neither the tapelist.log nor the GET that is passed to the web service have any data for the variables localParty, remoteParty, localIp, remoteIp, or localEntryPoint. Is there something that can be done about this? -Mike Jett |

Roy, As mentioned earlier in this mailing list, the SoundDevice plugin has not be widely used and tested to date. It is known to work on a few setups but needs more work. I will look into this when time permits. Thanks for the problem report. Henri -----Original Message----- From: ore...@li... Mike, This is probably related to a problem we are looking into right now. If you can send me a pcap trace of a single call (zipped, directly to me) I can confirm that. Hi,
Looking below, it seems the local/remote parties are correct, the short
extension is local party and the long number is remote party. Maybe you are
looking to always have the SIP to: reported as the local party and the SIP
from: as the remote party in order to always know the initiating side?
Otherwise, Oreka does not consider a 0 second talk time (call with no RTP)
call to be a valid call so it will never be reported.

Subject: Oreka - calls getting recorded reversely.
Hi Everyone,
With the help of Bruce and Steve I got my Orkaudio server up and
running, however, I am having issues with some of the recordings. The call
immediate to the call having zero second talktime gets recorded with the
intiating number of the receiving party ( i.e. the call is recorded reversed
and with wrong call initiating number). Is this a bug in the software or a
configuration issue?. I am using subversion of the latest orkaudio release.
Some of the calls after the call having 0 second talk time get mixed up and
get recorded as a single call. This is not acceptable in a situation where
auditing is required to be done on each call.
Here is the call structure for reference:

Hi Guys, Sorry if this may have been mentioned, but looking at Asterisk that uses the g729 codec (which you need to purchase for transcoding), is there no way to guy the license from say Digium and then filter the RAW data through the codec translator? Just a thought. That way, you still have the g729 binary (not source code obviously) and you still buy the license, but you use it on an opensource product. Just a thought.

I'm currently trying to use Orkaudio to pick up RTP traffic from our VOIP Switch. I've tried the installation on Windows and Linux (both Debian and CentOS4) but although Orkaudio picks up and records RTP packets the WAV file returns with just a hissing noise (I can send a copy if need be). Armin, You need to compile a newer version of Oreka in order to be able to control timeout values (<RtpSessionTimeoutSec> and <RtpSessionWithSignallingTimeoutSec>). Otherwise for calls that are not recorded, do you know if the recorder even sees the wanted RTP stream? I can take a look if you can send a pcap trace directly to me. Henri _____ From: ore...@li... Only 50-80% of the calls are recorded properly: -Some calls are recorded in one file when the call agent gets a busy line and dials another number immediately. If this is the case, the recording only contains the remote party of the second Call. -Some Calls are not recorded at all (I think it's also a problem with a fast series of calls) What can I do? Only the first file got duplicated it seems. Now I get a single file per call as expected. Don't know why, might be related to me turning off EnableReporting. Anyway, seems to be a false alarm and thus nothing to bother with. /Jonas On 30 Dec 2007 at 19:07, Jonas Svensson wrote: > Just installed orkaudio on a new computer with everything as > default. I just compiled oreka again (exectly as in my notes at <http://www.mozoft.com/oreka.html>), but this time I noticed that orkaudio tries to open up a couple of ports for a http/telnet server (port 59130 and 59140).
