Jon Many thanks for quick response, we are using Cisco Call Manager 4.1 with IPCC / CRS configured. External PSTN calls are terminated on CTI ports in CCM and then calls are being presented to agents with CTI ports as CLI. For Example: you dialed 0800-XXX-XXX ----> CCM - IPCC CTI Port 6501 ----> IVR ------> AGENT 8201 ORKAUDIO is only presenting CTI Port number in ORKWEB, which is great for us. All I want to do is to translate pre-defined numbers into names. For Example: Agents 8801 Jon 8802 Michael 8803 Kristina 8804 Blah Blah 8805 Kid1 CTI Ports 6501 Business-1 6502 Business-2 6503 Business-3 I guess we can achieve this by editing oreka database in SQL, but since I am no MySQL expert I don't know how to acheive this. Please could guide in right directions? Many thanks -Imran -----Original Message----- From: ore...@li... on behalf of jon...@fu... Sent: Wed 11/06/2008 10:27 To: ore...@li... You will need to create a table in the database to store port and/or ip address with the user John, Smith, Betsy, Hammy, etc... You will need to create an interface that ties the user name to the ipadress using Java. Understand that your sip endpoint is communicating via sip using sip addressing usually 18091234567@122.122.34.56. The sip gateway or sip switch may do some translation, and you may be able to get into the sip switch via an api, but usually the best way to attach name to number is to alter the application which is showing the number. Then you will need to alter the query that pulls up the ip address to instead pull up by name. And your query should be of a left join type because the calls that are external to the sip system will not have a name for translation, so you will want to show the number instead. Not a trivial task. The makers of Orkaudio also have a private version of the product which you might want to review to see if it meets your needs. Hope that helps!!! Hi, please can someone help? I want the local call party number to be displayed as Name and Remote called party to be displayed as name rather than number within orkweb. For example. 2008-06-11 15:01:21.0 0 8209 → 8805 113 Where 8209 is a local party I want to replace it with “John” and where 8805 is I want to replace it with “Smith” And I should be able to view this information within http://localhost:orkweb/app. Is there a way I can achieve this? In the orkaudio config.xml file there is a section that reads:
<VoIpPlugin>
<!-- Use this if you want to force capture from
a given list of devices. -->
<!-- All available devices are listed in
orkaudio.log when the service is starting -->
<!--<Devices>\Device\NPF_{E0E496FA-DABF-47C1-97C2-DD914DFD3354},
\Device\NPF_{ADE496FA-DABF-47C1-97C2-DD914DFDAB38}</Devices>-->
<Devices>\Device\NPF_{3B56DD2E-A9A7-4963-A08E-E8F0645F50AB}</Devices>
<!-- If AllowedIpRanges is used, only packets
with *both* source and destination -->
<!-- matching the list are retained -->
<!--<AllowedIpRanges>212.125.143.0/24,
82.150.0.0/16, 82.199.64.133</AllowedIpRanges>-->
<!-- If BlockedIpRanges is used, packets with
*either* source or destination -->
<!-- matching the list are dropped -->
<!--<BlockedIpRanges>212.125.143.0/24,
82.150.0.0/16, 82.199.64.133</BlockedIpRanges>-->
<!-- LanMasks can be ignored if you have
standard LAN addresses (192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x) -->
<!-- LanMasks might be used to determine the
direction of a call (incoming or outgoing into or from the LAN) -->
<!--<LanMasks>10.4.3.4, 1.2.3.4</LanMasks>-->
<!-- The following is a csv list of your PBX,
PSTN gateway, conferencing server or such "gateway" devices -->
<!-- It is needed to properly detect call
direction -->
<!--<MediaGateways>10.0.0.102</MediaGateways>-->
</VoIpPlugin>
Five Questions
1)
This question concerns the parameter <AllowedIpRanges>.
The instructions state if it is used only packets with *both* source and
destination matching the list are retained.
Would you please expand upon this instruction? For example, if orkaudio
is listening on a sip gateway and the internal ip address range is
192.168.0.0/254 and the sip gateway is 789.123.456.1, does this mean
that the parameter <AllowedIpRanges> must be of the following:
<AllowedIpRanges>192.168.0.0/254, 789.123.456.1</AllowedIpRanges>
2)
Can the range be in the form 192.168.0/254 or must it be a full list of
192.168.0.0/254, 192.168.1.0/254, etc.?
3)
If the calls are coming in from the gateway, does the AllowedIpRanges
required the "outside" address of the sip gateway as well as the
"inside" address?
4)
Is Orkaudio SIP 2.0 compliant?
5)
What were the issues you found related to the drop of one side of the
conversation?
Thanks,
Jonathan

Henri,
Thank you for the suggestions.
When I tried this: http://tagdell490:1955//2008/05/27/16/20080527_164841_10.42.0.119,30168.wav <http://tagdell490:1955//2008/05/14/15/20080514_152530_10.42.0.119,55698.wav>
it works! So, following your earlier suggestions of amending the port number in oreka it is now working well!
Thank you very much.
I am a software developer, and I am keen to contribute to this project (if I am able). However, I am totally unfamiliar with creating applications in TomCat. Could you suggest some further reading where I can see some examples (preferably not just Hello World!)?

John,
Remove the javascript stuff and only keep the URL (from http:// to .wav) and try to stick it into a browser. If the browser cannot download the wav file, it could just be that your hostname of tasgdell490 does not resolve. Try doing the same with the IP address of the server.

Subject: [Oreka-user] I cannot play the .wav files from within OrkWeb
Firstly, thanks for the previous help.
I have now got OrkAudio, OrkTrack and OrkWeb working using port 1955. As previously mentioned calls are recorded, call details are logged in the Oreka database and the details can be viewed with OrkWeb. (I am using Oreka OrkAudio version 0.5-313 on Windows XP.)
But, still I cannot get the .wav files to play within OrkWeb.
I have tried the following items from previous posts without success:
1. "If the file is present, try to replay it locally with a media player such as Windows Media Player. If it does not replay, please refer to Section 7.2, "Not possible to replay recorded files""
Well, the file *does* play when opened from Windows Media Player, but not from the OrkWeb, so what can I do as I am baffled!
So then I tried...
2. "If you have double checked all of this, please do a view source, extract the links to the wav files and see if it's possible to get them directly by pasting the links into another IE window.
When I tried the string:
javascript:play('http://tagdell490:8080//2008/05/27/12/20080527_125015_10.42.0.119,19092.wav')
or even when I amend it to be
javascript:play('http://tagdell490:1955//2008/05/27/12/20080527_125015_10.42.0.119,19092.wav')
neither works.
If I paste:
C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 5.5\webapps\ROOT\2008\05\27\12\20080527_125015_10.42.0.119,19092.wav
into the browser WMP opens and plays the file!
Can anyone suggest why my wav files do not play please?
Thanks
John Ryrie.

John,
In your MySQL 'service' table, you can change the TCP port used for building
those URLs.

Subject: [Oreka-user] How can I change the port that Orkweb uses?
Further to my last posting for help, I noticed that although I can see the
recordings made by orkaudio using orkweb on port 1955, when I click on the
play icon it tries to execute the string:
javascript:play('http://tagdell490:8080//2008/05/21/18/20080521_183219_10.42
.0.119,28588.wav')
It's this port number 8080 that I'd like to be able to amend in the orkweb
config/setup files to use 1955, and cannot understand where I change the
Tomcat orkweb settings/web pages?
Thanks,
John Ryrie.

I need to use Orkaudio/Orktrack and Orkweb on port 1955. How can I do this, please? Here is some background information... I have installed Orkaudio on a Windows XP machine, along with Orktrack and OrkWeb. mostly it is working fine. I have been having problems getting Orkaudio to write the entries to the Oreka database (which I created in the TomCat setup stage). The error message I received in the Catalina log was: SEVERE: Error starting endpoint java.net.BindException: Address already in use: JVM_Bind:8080 at org.apache.tomcat.util.net.PoolTcpEndpoint.initEndpoint(PoolTcpEndpoint.java:298) at org.apache.tomcat.util.net.PoolTcpEndpoint.startEndpoint(PoolTcpEndpoint.java:313) at org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11BaseProtocol.start(Http11BaseProtocol.java:151) at org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Protocol.start(Http11Protocol.java:76) at org.apache.catalina.connector.Connector.start(Connector.java:1090) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardService.start(StandardService.java:457) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardServer.start(StandardServer.java:700) at org.apache.catalina.startup.Catalina.start(Catalina.java:552) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source) at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Unknown Source) at org.apache.catalina.startup.Bootstrap.start(Bootstrap.java:295) at org.apache.catalina.startup.Bootstrap.main(Bootstrap.java:433) 21-May-2008 12:06:19 org.apache.catalina.startup.Catalina start So, I managed to get Orkaudio to write entries into the Oreka MySQL database, by telling it to use port 1955 for logging, like so: <TrackerHostname>localhost</TrackerHostname> <TrackerTcpPort>1955</TrackerTcpPort> <EnableReporting>true</EnableReporting> I changed the destination of the output audio files too, with the line: <AudioOutputPath>C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 5.5\webapps\ROOT</AudioOutputPath> and files did go to the ROOT directory, and can be played from Windows Media Player. But, although Orkweb could see the entries, it could not play them! I noticed that even though I *was* using port 1955 to access the Tomcat page as in http://localhost:1955/orkweb <http://localhost:1955/orkweb and it was displaying the data, when> and it was displaying the data, when I pressed the play button it was trying to play a file using port 8080 within the play string! How, can I make OrkTrack/OrkWeb both use port 1955? A helpful earlier post suggested how to change the Orkaudio part of the software, as in: You can tune this in config.xml: <TrackerTcpPort>80</TrackerTcpPort> and the user said: "I know how to change the tomcat xml from 8080 to 80 post install and preinstall on the form, but my question is, that if I do that will the database still be updated or will changing the port from 8080 to 80 corrupt the hardcoding." but he did not explain how to do the OrkWeb bit. Can anyone please help? Thank you. John Ryrie. |

Jonathan, It is possible to do it, but you need to recompile all dependencies as well, otherwise orkaudio will just crash. Henri _____ From: ore...@li...
