Bruce, Most likely, you need the G.729 codec which is not available in the open source distribution. All timestamps saved in the database are UTC but what you should see on the web interface is the local time of the recording server, so I'm quite surprised about this. Hi, if your recordings has only 1kb, then something is wrong. What is the biggest size of single wav file? As far as I know mcf file format should be transcoded to wav. We have Hyper-V Win 2012 configuration and I haven’t experience with CentOS only some with Ubuntu. Also I don’t know how CentOS will work on Virtual configuration. Now I see packages are recording, but still is some issue because I see recorded file on IE but cannot play them. Thank you, Jeff Hi Jeff, What do you have in orkaudio log files? Tomcat 8 is still beta, recommended version is 7. Personally I would suggest you installing Oreka under CentOS, it's much easier. Best, Marcin |

Hello, I already post it on the develop list but since I had no answer, I think I did not post on the right list. So here is my question: I use oreka 1.2 on several Ubuntu 10.04 servers. Hi! I'm using an IP PBX with several SIP trunks to different VOIP Providers using SIP. Using OREKA GPL as recording solution. My Filenaming is calldestination_localpraty_number_remote party_number. But some of my recordings have not the localparty and remoteparty numbers, instead there goes the IP address of the local Phone of the IP of the PBX with unknown destination. And also some of these recordings with the ip-s instead of local/remoteparty contains several calls in 1 file. I've read some suggestion in the mailing list and I've have a questions? 1) SkinnyCucm7Mode>yes</SkinnyCucm7Mode> Does this tag will help me with the IP addresses in the filename-s 2) For the separation of these united calls. Should i put this 2 tags in the VOIpPlugin Section in that way? Or i'm wrong and how should be configured to work properly <RtpSessionTimeoutSec>1</RtpSessionTimeoutSec> <RtpSessionWithSignallingTimeoutSec>1</RtpSessionWithSignallingTimeoutSec> 3) Is there any other things to change or add, to have more reliable recordings? 10x |

Hi Jeff, What do you have in orkaudio log files? Tomcat 8 is still beta, recommended version is 7. Personally I would suggest you installing Oreka under CentOS, it's much easier. Best, Marcin |

Hello, All recordings are placed into the database with a GMT timestamp. I am in US Eastern time and the system time is set correctly. The My SQL database is also set to use the system time. What parameter can be changed so the recordings have the correct US Eastern time timestamp? Thank you Bruce |

Hello, I am using Oreka with an Alcatel-lucent OmniPCX. Although all traffic is captured some MCF files are not converted to WAV (most are). Is there a setting that you can recommend to me so I can have this 100% functional? Many thanks Bruce |

Hello, Regarding point 1b. I have changed TrackerHostname value from localhost to 127.0.0.1 and this fixed my orktrack error. Isn't weird? I thought that localhost should be resolved to 127.0.0.1? What about the rest of my questions? Best, Marcin |

CentOS I think, because there is an installer for this system. W dniu 2013-11-18 02:18:52 użytkownik bilal ghayyad <bil...@ya...> napisał: Hello; What is the recommended OS to be used with Oreka? What about Fedora? Because Redhat requires license. Also, what about Opensuse? Regards Bilal |

Hello; I just read in the FAQ that it oreka does not support the recording for the G729 calls because it is required to get license. But really I did not understand if it is required to buy the orecx (which is the license package of the oreka) or there is license for g729 that is required to be bought and installed at the server that is running the oreka. Sorry for asking this question in two ways ! I am very sorry. Regards Bilal |

This is a proprietary signalling protocol by Mitel, so only standard RTP is recorded, hence the IP addresses. If you want support for metadata, you need to take a look at the commercial version. Johel, Most likely it is a codec issue such as the usage of G729, cannot say for sure without a log. The commercial version might be of interest to you in this case.
