Evaluate, and if appropriate, implement the GOtcha
method to search for an appropriate Gene Ontology for
any unknown sequence.

Result name: *.GOT...?

See http://bio10846/local/MycoRefs/Gotcha.html for
details on this interesting program.

and www.geneontology.com for info on Gene Ontology.

In the fall of 2004, the GOtcha developers released a public version of their
software. I am currently in the process of investigating GOtcha, and will
implement it into CCT if feasible.

One issue of the top of my head is that it requires (to be useful) many
third-party perl libraries (and binaries!). This makes making a Mac OS X
easy installer a bit more difficult.

OK, so here's the lowdown: GOtcha's databases aren't dynamic, which is
one of the premises for creating CCT -- should we still consider
    implementing this?
