It would be interesting if it were possible to say what
satellite sources are preferred and have a "best image"
mode for the whole earth. For instance in the US if
the urban pictures are available, they are stunning,
but you can't seamlessly zoom out since you see a lot
of white. It would be great if WorldWind could
eliminate the solid white areas and show the "next
best" image. Of course when you are looking outside
the US different datasets have better precision so it
would need to know what is best for different areas and
select them.

Probably a mad idea, but I figured I'd throw it out.
