That's maybe because the ID3 tag is v2.4 which is not supported by mp3ext, only 2.3. Another reason might be a too big image/tag size.

Solution found: Search for cmd.exe via the Windows 8/10 Search Right click on cmd.exe and select "Run as administrator" Copy: regsvr32 mp3ext.dll Paste into the cmd shell window Press return and you get a meesage that the "dll got registered successfully"
