#70 tiffstream error when running leptonica 1.71 built on i686

Hi,

I wanted to build Leptonica-1.71 in order to build the latest version of tesseract-ocr. While it built ok on msys2, when doing 'make check' in leptonica, a number of tests failed and I got popup error boxes for tiffstream error. This did not happen under the versions built on cygwin and mingw+msys.

Please let me know how to fix this.

    It'd be nice to mention some steps to reproduce the errors, ideally including a PKGBUILD file. Closing now due to age, but if issues persist, file a new ticket on GitHub. Beware though that make checks are a low priority for us due to the amount of work involved.
